Volunteers are needed to assist with grocery and produce giveaways at Gideon. This includes setting up, assisting shoppers (students, families, and neighbors) with shopping from available food, and cleaning up after. 

Volunteers are needed to support with our weekly grocery giveaways. Volunteers welcome students and families, assist them with their shopping experience, and connect them with additional resources if needed. Volunteers also assist with set up, replenishing food as needed, and event breakdown. 

Volunteers are needed weekly on Wednesdays to support the giveaway of fresh produce and groceries at Dobbins. 

Volunteers are need to support the organization and distribution of food at the Dobbins in-school pantry. Shifts are flexible across Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays from 2-3:30pm. Please note your preferred day(s) in the comment when responding. 

Volunteers are needed to support with food distribution efforts at Webster on Wednesdays from approximately 8am-12pm. Volunteers will help unload food deliveries from partner organizations, set up tables, and organize groceries so it is easy for attendees to shop when the pantry opens around 1pm. This role requires physical labor; please reach out if you have questions. 

Volunteers are needed to help greet families and distribute groceries to families at the end of summer programming each Wednesday. This will include set up, supporting patrons in choosing different food items, passing out bags to kids walking home, and assisting with event clean up. 

Please note: volunteers must have their required clearances on file to sign up. 

Food & Clothing Pantry Volunteers -- Volunteers will help to greet participants at the door, ensure they have a number for the distribution, support patrons shopping in the pantry, restock items, and organize clothing donations. Volunteers who speak Spanish are especially invited to apply!

Tuesday Shifts - Pantry Delivery & Restock Support - food deliveries arrive from 8am-12pm. Volunteers will be added to a group chat and notified ~20 minutes before the delivery. Help is needed for about 30 minutes to bring the delivery into the school and restock shelves.

Wednesday Shifts - Food Distribution Day - volunteers are needed to serve as greeters (Spanish language skills preferred), hand out food and clothing from the pantry, and support families in completing summer food assistance applications.

Volunteers are needed to organize the community closet! We are looking for 1-2 volunteers to come every week or every other week when school is in session to organize the community closet and ensure our students can access what they need. Day/time is flexible within school hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30am-2:30pm.
